Hors D'oeuvres (Prompt)
(Wolf O'Donnell) “Well, this sucks. This place couldn’t be any more boring even if it tried.” Wolf grumbled, standing away from everyone in the same room as him. The Star Wolf team had been invited to attend a celebration of peace across the Lylat System. The celebration was to dedicate heroes among the ranks… and somehow Wolf’s team was made honored guests. It honestly infuriated the lupine. They had helped the Star Fox team take down a common enemy, and as the old saying goes, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” So, they were in the same boat. This was a onetime thing, but apparently Fox had decided that the Star Wolf team were to be honored as allies in this recently ended war. Wolf would’ve said no to the invite, and denied any facts strewn about, had it not been for the rations and supplies the government was offering to the two teams for their heroic actions. All he and his teammates needed to do was play nice for a few hours, and they’d get out of there and resume their
(Baron Hobert von Gikkingen) “I didn’t expect this to happen! Never, in a million years, did I ever expect this outcome!” a voice shouted to itself, carried in the wind. Currently running down the street of a small town was an elegant-looking dapper cat; dressed in a full black suit with a sunny yellow vest and blue & white bow tie, and grey fur all over his body while pale blue eyes glistened in the sunlight. The voice belonged to that of Baron Hobert von Gikkingen, the eldest of the three Baron brothers who coexisted together and ran the Cat Bureau. But right now, the finely dressed feline was currently evading rabid fangirls… with a few boys strewn about the mob-like blob of people. Hobert had just been traversing from town to town in search of his own place to call home and start his own roots. After so many years of being around his brothers, it grew a little tiresome from how identical they seemed to each other… more so in terms of behavior than
(Louis) “Alright everyone. That’s gonna be it for today. We’ll see you tomorrow for the next rehearsal.” A voice acknowledged to everyone. It had been a long day of rehearsal and prop setting for Cherryton’s Drama Club as they prepared for the play that was to be performed in about a week. Every member of the club had to make sure that everything went off without a hitch… as per a certain deer’s instructions. Louis the Red Deer, who had dropped out of school for a bit, returned to the academy in order to continue his education; and get to know his peers and colleagues on a closer level. At first everyone had been a little skeptic with how more open the herbivore was to everyone, but it seemed that he now wanted to be treated as an equal alongside the rest of the student body. Though it didn’t mean his perfectionism had dissipated. After all, the world is a stage, and he was born to be in the spotlight. Louis’ return to school was just in time since this play was a new idea that
Today was unexpected. More so than usual. Especially when you have a knack for sticking your nose into other people’s business. You think you’ve seen it all, but then life decides to throw something new at you. And then you’re left comprehending how this little feat started out in the first place. Well here we have the Cat Bureau to solve these little problems that happen on a day-to-day basis. “Well, that went well.” A large cat commented, currently plastered to the floor in attempt to save hide and hair… or fur in the animal’s case. This cat, white all around and bigger than most average sized cats, was known as Renaldo Moon to all; but known as Muta to his friends. Today, we see him with his friends – and fellow Bureau members – helping out with a client’s problem. A problem that no one was prepared to face. The problem ended with a loud popping sound that came from the form of somebody’s overinflated volleyball. Yes, you heard right. A volleyball was the problem. An entire team set

Beastars - New Coach's Lessons (Chp. 2)
The light of the rising sun slowly shined in through the canine dorm. It filled into the bedroom through the large windows, even onto the bed with a curtain covering it. Within were two snoring canines, one gray wolf and one Tibetan fox, both close to the same size and height. The wolf slowly stirred under the covers. Legoshi let out a deep yawn as he stretched out. He felt refreshed after such a good nap. The events of last night replayed in his mind; the training, the sweat, the spanking by speedo stretching. It made him wince slightly in remembrance, yet he also couldn’t help but smile at how much he came to enjoy the training. Never being a big sports enthusiast before, he never saw the need despite many asking him to join for his tall height and build. Yet, much to his surprise, he found the experience not that bad; even if the spanking was somewhat embarrassing. The wolf attempted to pull himself up, but found he could not. Both because he still felt a little groggy and because

Beastars - New Coach's Lessons (Chp. 1)
It was early in the morning at Cherryton Academy. The sun’s rays slowly peeked out from beyond the horizon line as the day began to unfurl itself to all living beings in the world. It just so happened to be the middle of the year, and all seemed to be peaceful at the moment. Students were going about their own ways; socializing, working, grabbing cups of caffeine to wake themselves up. Anything to make sure they were fully awake and prepared for whatever was to come. Today, in all honesty, was supposed to be a special day, as a new batch of transfer students were to arrive this year, and everyone was apprehensive of what they could be like. This extended to the canine dorm as well. In room 701, of the male carnivore building, a gray wolf by the name of Legoshi was currently sitting patiently with his friends; Jack the golden retriever, Durham the coyote, Collot the sheepdog, Miguno the spotted hyena, and Voss the fennec fox. They had been informed, yesterday, that one of the incoming

Shirou's Hands-On Experience (Chp. 2)
The sunlight of morning slowly shone upon Animacity, filling the streets where shadows once dwelled. Streetlights went blinked out and the morning train blared to life, waking up any early birds and alerting everyone that the day was about to begin. The morning light eventually fell upon the abandoned gym, steadily filling the main office with its rays through the blinds that hung in front of the windows. It finally fell upon the lone occupant in the office, who was currently in bed sleeping peacefully. As soon as the first ray of light hit his eyes, his face scrunched together from the intrusion of sudden brightness, until he finally started slowly waking up. Shirou Oogami let out a deep yawn as he slowly lifted his head, the aches in his joints disappearing as he rolled them out. Looking around, he sees he is in the main office room of the abandoned gym he discovered the previous night. That is when the memories started flowing back to the front of his mind. ‘That night…yes. Shirou's Hands-On Experience (Chp. 1)
It was currently night in Anima City, a small breeze blowing through the vacant streets as a crescent moon lit up the sky, surrounded by twinkling lights of stars. The day had been rather simplistic as the beastkin of the city lived their lives and proceeded on with whatever the day had in plan for them. All throughout this time, a lone figure perched itself on top of a building while the moonlight illuminated it. It was a tall and muscular anthropomorphic wolf whose attire seemed to be particularly tight on him. He was dressed in a light tan trench coat with the collar up, a black long-sleeved shirt, black cropped gloves, a pair of slim dark gray chinos, and thick dark brown boots. Around his neck was a dark brown dog collar with a silver buckle around his neck and a matching belt around his waist. This wolf just so happened to be Shirou Oogami, the protector of the city and of beastkin as a whole. As often, the wolf man’s expression was neutral; an air of mystery in his face, yet it

A Date that Ends in Blue
It had been a somewhat normal day in “Scratching Post,” a quaint little tailor shop that a well-known around town black cat formerly known as Mason Wright currently worked in up to the present day. The cat himself was currently in the middle of re-threading a needle for a client’s repair job; a jacket that had caught on a bedpost when the client was running late for work. The process went smoothly considering the use of claws made it easier to place the thread through the loop in the needle, and it allowed Mason to feel relieved from the focused attention being given. With the needle and thread ready, he got to work right away since there was a deadline for this to be completed. Thankfully, it was just a small patch up near the end of the jacket. “Mason?” A voice called out from beyond the curtain that separated the shop from the back where all the “magic” happened. The black cat didn’t respond considering his focus was all on this repair job. Pushing the needle into the fabric
